"Setting Goals gives you clarity. They define and and give structure to the desires you already have. Giving these things structure and unfolding the path ahead even if it does not happen exactly the way your plan gives you a structure to experience your life inside of a growth game." - Heather Renee
Depends on the life you are choosing to create. When we set goals and accomplish a goal we get a dopamine hit every time.
Small ways to begin to build great goal setting habits are make your bed first thing in the morning, call your mom on Sunday's, get the kitchen clean before you go to bed, clean your car once a week. Be on time all the time and track it.
These are possible micro goals that create that dopamine hit of accomplishment, to then begin creating the flow of habit and create the life you love.
This to me is an imperative building block to those greater life goals and builds inside of accomplishment.
Accomplishment creates a reward and reinforcement moving towards a goal, this creates a positive neuro circuit that creates that positive emotional system that computes decrease between you and a goal strengthening the neuro circuitry supported by positive emotion.
You must know exactly what you want and then aim for it. It truly depends on the type of Goal you are creating, yet all in all Yes. Life Goals are very important and support the growth of a person through out the Goal Journey. Striving for something you do not have and meeting the people places and properties along the way can expand your active experience and assist others to grow as well then when you set no goal at all you just stay in the same cycles life gets stagnant. The greatest experiences are when are getting out of your comfort zone.
